Checked breaker.
Checked power at machine.
Google video was followed to identify the failure was the mother board and not just the display.
Bought and replace board.
Pretty expensive but 1/3 cost of new machine.
Works fine now.

I had to replace a docking port. Parts Select had the part, labeled as stainless, just as this survey indicates. Well folks, the part I received is 100% plastic. It it the correct part, just not stainless. Should it have been stainless due to a faulty plastic design? I don’t know.

I used Parts Select for the simple directions for installation. I was eventually linked to a YouTube video for a completely different docking port. Does my part slip on? Does it press in? I don’t know.

Needless to say, this has been a cheap but frustrating ordeal that is not yet over. Thanks for having the stainless, but really plastic, part and for having directions for some other part available.

I loved the service I received. The site pulled up the correct make and model basket I need for my dishwasher and gave me several options. I order with ease and it arrived within a couple of days. No tools required.

Did it myself

Remove top rack stops, slide out upper rack from rack railing, turn over upper rack and attach spray arm using spray arm bearing and screw. Reassemble in reverse order.

Removed old basket, put in recycle bin, placed new basket in dish washer. The damage to the original basket was my fault. I now know not to drop heavy knives point down into the basket.
