FWS1233FS2 Frigidaire Washer - Instructions

Took broken knobs off and replaced with new ones. Only one fit snuggly; the other two are raised and wobbly.

No tools was required. Last month the knob broke on my washer. I done a Google search and parts select came up. I felt comfortable ordering online from them because of their reputation. I got the part faster than I expected....my wife was happy too!

Removed broken knob and installed the new by hand.

looked at broken starter knob
picked up the replacement knob
put it on the metal stem
and voila!!!!!

pushed on new knob... Really fast shipping!!!!!

Extremely easy. From finding the part on the website to installing on the machine.

It is so great to be able to turn my dryer on now without using my bare hand to turn the shaft that the knob was to go on. Nothing needed other than pushing knob in place. I so wish I had thought of looking online for a replacement part 4 years ago. Thanks!

watched the video, all instructions were perfect!

Used a metal cooking spoon to pry open the lid, held it in place with a chain (mentioned in the tools required) and used needlenose pliers to remove the clamp on the old hose assmbly. Transferd that clamp to the new hose assembly and replace the (1) screw holding it in place. Closed the lid of the washer, and now it is like the problm had never existed. (Very easy fix, 1 of 10 on difficulty scale).

pulled off broken knob and metal sleeve, replaced with new knob.

replacement knob replaced old one perfectly,just pressed on where old one fell off,beats looking at a pair of needle nosed vice grips left on the dryer to turn stub where knob had fallen off,wife happy, Happy wife,Happy life.

Following the easy instructions on PartSelect's website, I first removed the screws from the bottom, front of the washer. Then, using the putty knife, I unhooked the clips holding the washer top to the front and pulled off the front. I pushed in the belt wheel and removed the old belt, which was being held on by one strand. Then, I put on the new belt, put the front back on, replaced the screws and then pushed the washer lid back down over the clips. It worked perfectly and took less than 15 minutes and cost me next to nothing. Thanks for a great site!

Had already pulled off the broken knob--actually it had fallen off in my hand. Opened the package, pulled out the knob and pushed it onto the knob shaft. Simple. Less than one minute.
