It is beeping every few minutes, the light at the bottom (outside front) is blinking and things are thawing out

Hi Ted, Thank you for your question. If the freezer is beeping it is usually due to either the door being ajar or if the temperature inside reaches 21°F. Try resetting the freezer. First make sure the door is closed and then unplug the freezer for 30 seconds. If this does not help, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the evaporator fan motor, the electronic control board, the defrost thermostat and the defrost heater. You will find the information on how to test these parts under Free Repair Help and Instant Repairman on our website. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

where is the defrost timer located?
For model number FFFU20F2VW0
PartSelect logo
Hello Thomas, thank you for contacting us. The model doesn't have a defrost timer. The defrost cycle time is controlled by the control board. The control board, part number PS16555732, is located at the back of the refrigerator behind a small cover. We hope this helps.

Why is my freezer beeping? 3 short beeps every 10 seconds or so
For model number FFFU20F2VW0

Hello Cathy, thank you for writing. Check if fridge and freezer are overfilled: Over-stuffing of these compartments will prevent the doors from closing properly and can cause the fridge to set off a beeping alarm. Check the fridge door seals: Broken or damaged door seals may prevent the fridge from closing. This can also happen if the seals are dirty. We hope this helps.

Bought a new upright freezer. Love it but I made sure to get a model that has options to adjust the shelves. Then I bought a new shelf with clips. I felt there was too much room between the shelves as it came from the store. That would just result in stacking packages and too easy to lose what wa
