The freezer isn't freezing or making any noise. The lights are working but freezer is not
For model number FFFU20F2VW0
Hello Mae, thank you for your question. Dirty condenser coils can considerably reduce freezer performance. They should be clean and dust free, so please check for that. Secondly, check the evaporator fan motor (part number: PS12746805) and make sure the evaporator fan is working properly, as it is the part that removes heat from the freezer. Next, please check the thermostat control (part number: PS12746820), it is the part that prevents the freezer from getting too warm and controls the function of defrosting. A defective defrost (part number: PS12751639) can cause over-melting and prevent the freezer from freezing. Next, you need to check the condenser fan (part number: PS12731408), if it is not working then the condenser will not freeze in the freezer. If you find any of the above parts defective and are having trouble placing an order, please reach out to customer service and we will be happy to help. Thank you!
Wire Harness 5304523789 what does this do and how to test it
For model number FFFU20F2VW0
Hi Jessy, thank you for reaching out. The wire harness you mentioned connects the temperature control to the electrical circuit. In order to test the wire harness, set the multimeter on the continuity setting. Then place the one probe of the multimeter on the one end of one of the three wires, and the other probe on the other end of the same wire. If the multimeter reading is OL, it means that the wire is damage. Apply the same test on the other 2 wires. If any of the wire is damage, then replace the wire harness. Glad to be of assistance!
