Where is the regulator on this freezer
For model number FFUE2022AW6
Hello Cathy, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the temperature is regulated by the defrost thermostat, part number PS12746820, in your freezer. It is hooked to the knob on the cover assembly. The other clip of the thermostat is attached to the evaporator coil on the lower back side of the freezer. We hope this information helps!
I have this freezer and the door seal does not seal across the top of the door? it is not very old and you can see ice across the top like it is leaking air?? any thoughts,
For model number FFUE2022AW6
Hi Allan, thank you for your inquiry. We have concluded that the issue is with the door gasket, part number PS16218638. It creates a seal around the door to prevent warm air from entering the freezer. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
so not to disrupt items on the shelves we purchased an extra shelf so we could flash freeze items on a baking sheet after they are frozen then placed in a seal meal bags the items won't stick together the extra shelf allows you about 3 inches of space for a backing sheet
