BT22LS-4TX Magic Chef Range - Instructions

With a family of five a needed an extra oven rack as my RV oven is very small. After much aggravation between calling and going online to the manufacturer I still could not get any help. Even with locating the all important parts number. I was just about to give up when I was surfing around and found this website. Wow! What a relief! Not only did you show my where to find the part number, but I ordered it and got it within days. I spent more time on hold and online with the manufacturers customer service than anything else. From now on, no matter what I need, whether RV or home, I'm going staright to PartSelect. I didn't. Don't know how to get to light bulb to change it for this specific model

Opened oven door, slid in rack , closed door...
Fit perfect....

Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

Your web site is one of the best and most helpfull service sites I ever used. Just wish that in the future you will ship parts overseas.

After some research in finding the information under the range hood, I did internet searches to find the appropriate replacement rack.
It fits great and we are thrilled to have the additional rack.

Purchased a 1999 RV discovered the oven was misssing a rack and we were unable to use.
Located the part, ordering was easy. The rack arrived and fits perfect in the oven like it was made for it.

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.
