I shut off the breaker checked for power then cut old plugs making sure to allow a little slack. Tightened down wire nuts put on a couple wraps of electrical tape and that was it. Burners work great now I would reccomend this product to anyone with a similar problem.

I had already removed the old hinges by removing the screws/bolts and removing the broken hinges from the back side through the drawer below the oven that I had already removed. Took the new hinges and screwed the two metal screws into the top hole on the new hinges after placing hinge in vise, one screw on each then removed them and placed them to the side. Determined the right tap from my tap set, and then tapped the bottom two holes on the new hinges, one on each. Placed the bolts that came with the new hinges into the holes I had just tapped, screw them in, then I removed them and placed to the side. Took hinges and bolts / screws to the oven, inserted hinges in through the drawer that I had removed up to each side where hinges would come back out to the front of the oven. Placed screws / bolts one at a time through oven door frame into the hinge on the back side, and then threaded them into the hinges and tightened. Replaced oven door onto new hinges and checked for correct operation. Door works like new.

Description of the element indicated that it would work for the oven burner. However, it obviously was meant for the broiler element. I had to remove the thin metal piece with the attachment holes in it (the holes didn't match the holes in the back of the oven). To install I had to drill two holes in the remaining attachment flange to match the holes on the back of the oven. Then I made three metal supports out of sheet metal to hold the element up approximately 1 1/2" off of the bottom of the oven. Just thankful to find one that I could make work. Oven works fine now. Ordered wrong part at first caused me to blow out two elements. With the help of PartSelect I was able to get the right surface block terminal and replaced both of them, then found out I had a bad switch, they got the switch within 2 days I had my stove working good again. Thanks to PartSelect. Also watched the video which was very helpful ML

Remove heating element coils. & old drip pans. Install the new drip pans and reinsert the heating elements and insure all elements were level. For aesthetic reasons I replaced all the drip pans - 2 x 8" & 2 x 6".

pulled out stove and disconected power. removed back panel and disconected wires and pulled element out from front of oven and installed new element.this stove is thirty years old. P.S. part was orderd thursday afternoon and it arrived the very next day. BEST SHIPPING SERVICE EVER and this was the week before christmas.

simply remove the burner take out the drip pan and bowl individually. Install the new one and replace the burner. no tool was used.

Removed old rusted drip bowls and put in the new ones. Very easy to do and needed no tools. It made my 25 plus Jenn Air look new again!

Unscrewed screw holding bracket. Used side cutters to cut wires. Replaced the bracket, put the shrink wrap on wires, twisted wires together and held with wire caps. Shrunk the wrap with lighter. I'm a 67 year old female.. No problems.

Turned off stove breaker. Unscrewed burner from stove top, took out burner and spill pan. Lifted top of stove, cut the wire as instructed and put all parts together as instructed. Placed everything back together as instructed. I did it myself!

(a) I took out (and threw away) two stained 8* chrome drip bowls on my kitchen range; (b) ti put in two new 8" chrome drip bowls on my kitchen range. I'm pleased that I was equal to the task.

Removed heating element, installed new drip pan, replaced heating element. Was amazed at fast delivery - ordered in afternoon, arrived fed ex next morning!

We turned off the power, removed the two screws on the little plate in the back of the element. Pulled the element out, removed the two wires (they just clip off/on). Reversed the process, attached the wires, slipped back into the holes, replaced the screws, turned power back on. Works perfectly.

I removed the burners and then the older drip bowls of the cook stove--and then I put on the new drip bowls and put back on the burners. My mechanical skills were sufficient for the replacement of the drip bowls.
