I found the web site and the pictorial schematic of the refrigerator but it really didn't show the part as well as I had hoped, so I called the toll free Partselect number and spoke with a representative who took down all of the information and told me the part would be shipped out in a few days. Well, low and behold the next day Fedex was delivering this ling box to my door-I carefully opened it-it was the front cover plate of the drawer BELOW the broken one-perhaps my mistake in explaining it properly over the telephone-so back to the toll free number to try and straighten out the problem and reorder the correct part-that was even simpler than the first call-the correct part was ordered, return Fedex paperwork was sent to me via email, and several days later the correct part did indeed arrive. Installation took probably a total of 5 minutes or less-the old cover came off effortlessly (it was half off anyway) and the identical new replacement simply snapped into place and..............wah-lah as they say-back in business. It was a pleasure to do business with this company-their staff is courteous and efficient-and oh, yes, the first shipment was indeed picked up by Fedex when they delivered the correct package and was credited back to my credit card as promised. We removed the old switch, unplugged it, plugged the new one in and it was easy to do. But when we tried to put the switch back in we had a very hard time doing it. Eventually got it in, but if it had not been for the difficulty we had getting the new switch to snap in to place, it would have taken under 5 minutes.

I used the video step by step. The video showed complete process to swap out the motor. It was very simple to do.

Remove some shelving and have a towel handy. Opened water filter door to expose two 1/4” screws. Removed 2 screws. Placed my hands firmly on upper panel and gently pulled/tugged panel forward and slightly down. Disconnected roof lighting clip. Removed panel from frig. Disconnected both ends from solenoid fill valves by pressing in the colored locking piece to release tubing while pulling tube out. Cut zip ties and removed old leaking reservoir. I also removed the straight reservoir seeing as the part I replace was redesigned and the other one was not needed. Put new zip ties in place. Slid the new part into position and pressed the ends into the solenoid valves. You do not need to press in colored locking pieces, they will self lock. Secured with zip ties. Grabbed a container and filled it up with water through the door to fill and purge and check for leaks. Reconnect light clip, reinstalled top liner and snapped into place. Put screws in. Closed filter door. Took about 15 minutes. I did watch a you tube video prior to attempting this repair myself.

Once I got a part that wasn't broken in transit (took them sending it 3 times for that to happen), it was a breeze. Remove old drawer, take tracks off old drawer and place on new drawer. Put new drawer in fridge.

Removed old door. Attached new door to two tabs. Done

Lower the filter cover on the refrigerator, twist the old filter to remove it, install the new filter by pushing and twisting it, and close the filter door.
Using a pitcher, run water through the new filter until the excess carbon leavings are out then the water is clear and is drinkable

Unplug refrigerator.
Pry switch out with putty knife
Remove two wires from switch
Attach wires to new switch
Push new switch into slot

Simply placed on the front

Just open the filter and put it in the slot

I followed the instructions in the appliance reference manual, and successfully replaced the water filter in 2 minutes, and reset the water quality indicator.

Replaced motor

Open door. Remove broken bin. Replace with new bin.

I thought this was going to be much more difficult than it was. Take the bottom access door off (using a small socket - same size for all screws). Disconnect the plug to the motor. Unscrew the 4 screws holding the motor. Take the motor out. Unscrew the shaft screws on top (only 2) so you can manipulate it if need be up and down or spin it. Insert new motor and make sure shaft is seated correctly into the motor head. Screw motor back in. Screw shaft back in. Plug up motor. Screw bottom door back on. You are done. EASY!! Took me about 10-15 minutes to do. Much easier than most things.
