Door gasket tore.
With a small flat blade screw driver, gently pry the corner of the gasket from the door.
Pull it loose across the top, then down the sides.
Wipe the gasket track clean with a damp cloth.
Start installing the new gasket at one of the top corners. Then the other top corner. Press the gasket into the track between the top corners.
Next do the bottom corners. Pressing the bottom between the corners.
Then press in each side.
Elapsed time: 3-5 minutes.

Door gaskets on French doors needed replacement.
Saved me $175.00 to $250.00 for an appliance repairman to come to my house for this. Absolutely simple to do. Pull gasket from right side door, no tabs or screws. Replace with new gasket, simply push new in by hand. Left side door needs two screws removed from’ flap. Now, gently bump the bottom of the flap to lift the flap up only three inches or so. Remove the electrical connection tab under the metal plate that the two screws secured. Now, repeat what you did on the right side door. Simple!

I actually took a picture of the correct spring installation at a big box store that carried LG. I had called LG, but they said they didn't have any installation brochures, and to call a registered LG repairman. That was out of the question, since the repairman would charge $100 just to show up.
I looked at the picture I took. Used needle nose pliers and inserted one end. Unless the lady of the house is very strong, this should be handled by a man, because of the rigid spring. Once the spring was inserted into one side of the flap, I used the pliers to get the other end into the proper slot. Very easy, but the spring is very strong !!
