Pulled out the old, and replaced. Very simple for a 62 year old woman! I cook a lot, being from the country, and Imwas so excited to get my burners fixed! Should have done it years ago! Thanks!

this bake element has two special Hex style screws, securing it in place, but a nut driver worked just as well. remove the baking racks, and then loosen the two hex screws. slowly pull the element out of the back wall and then disconnect the electric leads. reinstall by doing then the opposite action. could not have be simpler.

ordered new heating element, arrived promptly as expected, compared new heating element to old one and it matched in size only diameter a little different, removed two sheet metal screws holding element in place and pulled out element to expose conductors and removed them with screwdriver. Installed conductors on new heating element slid into holes and installed screws, turned power back on(first step is to turn off power) turned on oven to preheat and she worked like a new one. Remove the old one and replaced the new one. It was very simple, fast, and easy.

Viewed the video and simply removed the two screws with a 1/4" nut driver, removed the existing bake element and installed the new one. Quick and easy, even for someone who is not mechanically inclined.

Unpluged Oven, Removed 2 screws, unpluged Element, Plugged in new element. Replaced 2 screws, plugged oven in. Done 15 minutes.

Removed old element with a nut driver, 2 screws. Disconnected electric wires on element, being careful not to let the wires slip into the back of the oven. Connected the wires on new element, lined up holes with holes on oven and screwed in 2 screws with nut driver. Done!!

Turned off circuit breaker to the oven, unscrew the 2 small screws, pulled the element away from the back, pull element away from the wires in the oven and replace with the new one and replace the screws. Tirn circuit breaker back on

really easy unscrew the element from the back of the oven unclip remove old one slide clip on the new one and screw back to back of oven. Took 10 minutes or less

Plug the new element into the space on stove

Removed the old ones and inserted the new ones.

Since I had the element out I cleaned the stove. That took me 2.5 hours. Used cold spray and let sit for two hours and wipe out clean took about 30 minutes. Now for the element itself it took me about five minutes to put the new one in. Oven looks and works like new. Just google your repair needed and watch the video. Easy Peasy. Last time I had it done by an electoral repair person for the tune of about $100.00. This time I bought the part and did it my self. Cost less than $25.00 including tax and shipping. No brainer.
