Dishwasher made a crunching, grinding sound and then stopped working.
I followed the video available on partselect.com and was easily able to follow step by step the process of removing and reinstalling a new Drain and Wash Impeller and Check Ball.

spray Manifold had fallen off
Hey parts select, I'm Julia's husband and the repair was a simple remove and replace. Only one screw to hold the manifold together and the mounting hardware that we had to order separately was a snap in piece which was different form the original but went in just fine. You saved me from having to buy a new dishwasher which Julia was more than happy to go shopping for!! Thanks!!

Needed a tub sound shield
All I had to do is lay the shield over the top and sides and used a couple of clips to hold in place as it was slid under the counter top. It couldn’t have been easier. We had searched everywhere for this replacement shield and parts select was the the only ones that had it. Very good service and fast delivery,

Peg on the mount where the upper washer arm broke.
Removed 2 screws that held the old mount and washer arm in place, new mount was very easy to install, it snapped in, only one screw needed, remounted the washer arm and the job was done. I was really impressed with the ease of ordering and how quick it got here (3 days), also the scematics you have online are very helpful. I printed them out since I don't have the owners manual any longer, they're very helpful in matching up and ordering the right part which saves a lot of time, also I like the way you can just search by model number and appliance name to find the right parts, makes the entire process really easy. I know I will continue to shop here when the need arises. It really cuts down on expensive repair costs.

leaking suds and water front bottom of door
Replaced door gasget took 5 minutes tops. Ran cycle and still had leak. Called local repair person. After thoroughly checking out the dishwasher and running soapless cycle determined problem to be soap build up over time. He ran a commercial cleaner through a complete pots and pan cycle. No more suds and no more leak repair complete. Did not actually need door gagset but it was super easy to change and delivery service was great.

Upper Wash Assembly Broke Apart
First I read the other repair stories and knew it was a relatively easy repair. I removed the end caps on the front of the top dish rack and removed it for ease of access to the part. I then removed the two screws holding in the old part observing how it was positioned to make sure the new part was replaced in the same manner. I put the new part in place and screwed in place and replaced the dish rack. Everything is working just fine.

Soap Dispenser Lid Gasket Deteriorated & Leaking
I used the screwdriver to pry the old lid off of the horizontal pin upon which it rotates. One must be careful before removing the old lid to note how the return spring is deployed. The short legs on the spring must be in the lip of the lid before you snap the new lid onto the horizontal pin. It was helpful to lubricate the two catches on the lid that snap on the pin with some liquid soap before attempting to snap them on the pin. After the lid is snapped into place and the short legs of the coil spring are in the lip of the lid, use needle nose pliers to attach the other end of the coil spring to the pillar where it was before you removed the old lid. There are videos showing how to do this on Youtube. The spring part is a little tricky. The video makes it look a bit easier than it is..

Dishwasher not draining
Actually I ordered the drain and wash impeller kit because it was listed as the #1 cause of failure to drain. I then hired a plumber to install it. He did so and that didn't solve the problem. So I was about to buy a new dishwasher. I then noticed that the second most frequent cause was a problem with the "dishwasher drain check valve." I watched the "partselect" video on how to change that. I didn't have a new one but I thought I would take out the part and see what I could learn. As it turned out it was blocked by a little piece of what appeared to be a walnut chip. I cleaned it out reinstalled the drain check valve and the problem was solved.
