Fast,smooth,easy.

Just pulled the old gasket off and started on the bottom of both sides of the door installing the new gasket and finished at the top in the middle.

removed old door gasket, cleaned gasket groove, and than started new gasket in both corners working my way to middle top of door, made sure gasket was in groove properly w/my fingers. problem solved

I located the water inlet valve underneath. After moving the dishwasher out from the cabinet, I tilted it . Then I disconnected the black hose with the pliers . Using the adjustable wrench I unscrewed the water feed to the valve . I then unscrewed the valve from the frame and disconnected the wire plug by unlocking and slipping it away from the valve. To install I did all this in reverse.

After replacing the door seal and the dishwasher still leaked a lot of water out the bottom of the door, I read posts by a couple of other DIY who said the lower spray arm can split at the seam and cause this. One post noted it is very difficult to determine if this is the problem, that you may have to take the blade of a screwdriver and try to pry the seam apart gently to see if a gap does appear with very little force being applied. If so, then just imagine what happens when that very hot water makes that plastic more flexible and then the seam opens and forces waves of water against the lower door. I could see a small seam split using that strategy and when I replaced the spray arm, my leak stopped. I don't regret replacing the door seal as it had a couple of small tears and hard water deposits all over it, so it was time to do that even though it was not the culprit for the extensive leak. The arm is SO EASY to replace, just twist the plastic nut under it and it pops right off. Put the new one on and twist the nut the other way and it secures it.

It is a small plastic piece which serves as a stop on the right side of the upper rack. It is the correct part because it is identical to the left one of the same type. I tried clamping down with a pair of pliers but I am afraid of breaking it. With shipping this two inch piece of plastic cost $20, so I do not want to crack it. I am at a loss as to how to sit in in place.

Snap new track stop into place. Took a few minutes to figure out top/bottom and inside/outside, but no issues

Very easy to remove the broken one and just clip in the new one.

If your are just a tiny bit "handy", you can do this job in about 30 minutes for $30. The rubber gasket comes off very easily from its location, just pull it off, than, using a small piece of wood, I used a shim, insert the new gasket in, an inch at the time, all around the frame. No more leak, and probably over $150 savings. A plumber or repair man would have charged $90 just to drive to my house, plus part & labor.

Our dishwasher's top rack would pull too far out which made it hard to stay in alignment. It had lost it's track stop. Removing and installing the new part was fairly simple. We removed the water hose first since it is the easiest to see. We then removed the screw holding the part to the metal frame. We slid out the part out of the holder to remove the black hose and electric plug (it is like the old phone jacks). After it was completely off we plugged in the electric to the new part which was very easy since it can only go in one way. We slid the new part in place and attached the black hose. We attached the piece to the frame with the one screw and last we attached the gold (garden hose) connection. We turned on the water to look for any leaks then turned the power on and ran it through a partial rinse to be sure there were no leaks.

I manually attached the track stop to the right track in the disheasher.

removed unit from cabinet disconnected water and drain lines replaced heater very easy to do it took more time to remove unit from under counter than replace heater piece of cake..

Husband watched your repair video. Everything went well and we are very pleased.
