58715109801 Kenmore Dishwasher - Instructions

I removed the kick panel at the bottom front of the dishwasher. Then using a flashlight and a cross point screwdriver, I removed the thermostat from about the middle left. It requires a short screwdriver, but not quite as short as a stubby. I unplugged the wires, noting that one of them was a little burnt looking. The burnt looking connector was still okay. I then installed the new one, with the green dot on the thermostat having the slightly burnt looking connector. Then I ran a load of dishes and the dishwasher worked as it was supposed to. It has worked okay twice since then.

1 Removed 2 screws to remove door panel so as to access back of dispenser.
2 Unplugged 2 color-coded wires attached to dispenser
3 Removed 6 screws attaching the dispenser.

Reversed these 3 steps to install new unit.

Easy. Don't even think of calling the repairman.

Followed the YouTube instructions. Loosened 4 screws took off the front door panel and removed the old door and installed the new one. The video was very helpful!

It was super simple. I popped the clips that were holding the old spray arm on and then popped the new one in place.

Pulled old gasket off with small hook. Replaced new gasket by pressing in with my fingers.

First, I was so pleased to find these parts at such reasonable prices! Sure beats replacing a dishwasher in terms of money and labor. I'd already studied the online instructions a couple times before ordering and checked to make sure my racks dis-assembled as shown. They did, I ordered, got the new racks within days and installed both in under ten minutes. Great service and awesome installation videos. Slid the old rack out, removed the silverware basket and put in new rack, and slid the new rack in. Had to use the pliers to attach a wheel that came off during shipping.

Took the old out and placed the new in its place. That simple!

Simply took the old one out, and put the new one in.

First of all, I got the part 24 hours after I ordered it. That in it self was a feat. Second, I followed everyone elses instructions, pulled the old gasket out with a pair of needle nose pliers, cleaned the area as good as I could, found the notch for the slot on the gasket to slide into and viola...it slid in and stayed in. No more leakage whatsoever! Thanks for all of the tips!

Replacing the part was easy. Just pop the old one out and pop the new one in. This item fixed my leaking door problem. The old arm had fallen against the heating element, which burned a hole through the end. Water was shooting out that hole and leaking under the bottom door seal. Replacing the door seal did not help, but replacing the arm fixed the leak.

the remove was very easy just with pliers and a screw drive I was able to remove the pump. Make sure the electric is off!

Took out the two retaining screws and pulled the unit forward. Took the old door strike out and put in the new one. This site is where I go for all my appliance repair parts!!!

Pulled the old one off and pressed the new one on (plastic clips hold it on). Dishes much cleaner now.
