Thanks to the good advise of those who did this before me ,I know I need a very slender wrench to get between the screwed on base of the coupling and the copy of the base of the blender.
I tried to file one myself, but the metal was too weak. Because i had the size (from what I filed), I measured and knew i needed a 7 MM wrench. I bought one at the parts store and ground it thin enough to slip into the small space and from there it was a five minute job.

A very flat wrench or needle nose pliers was needed. I could not get the nut unscrewed with what I had so I had to mail the unit to a service center for repair. They were able to use the part I had purchased but if I had known I wouldn't be able to do it I could have saved a little money in the shipping I had to pay when I ordered the part.

Very easy. Enclosed instructions were excellent! Part arrived early than anticipated, also.

Just took a screwdriver and pried off the broken coupling as the instruction said with the part. Don't stress it really works and is easy. Ordered the part on Monday and recieved it on Tuesday. Great service from Partselect!

I removed the borken part with a screw driver and put the new part on - all in less than 2 minutes.
Repaired: the small part on the blender base that turns the blade within the pitcher.

The replacement part was delivered overnight. The part was easy to replace. The blender now works like new.

first i make sure the blender was unplug from the power outlet, then i turn it side ways on the counter and i take the screw driver and i stoked from the bottom of the blender to keep the shaft from turning then i use the pliers to unscrew the old coupling, then i just screw the new one back in hand tight the was it very simple and quick.

Followed the instructions supplied with the part. I also read some of the comments on your website to double check the repair proceedure. They were right to the point and easy to perform.

Followed the directions that came with the part. Put some scratches on the base of the blender but there was no way around it. The coupling is screwed on and we had to pry it off by rotating the coupling and inserting the flat part of the screwdriver under it and lifting up.

Pried off old coupling with screwdriver then screw on the new coupling.

Pried off couple as described in paperwork sent with coupler, using fairly large straight slot screwdriver. simply screw coupler onto motor axel shaft. Took less that a minute, and save many$$$.

I tried to remove the old drive coupling before the replacement part arrived but had no success. Following the directions that came with the new part (lifting up from the bottom and turning counterclockwise with a flathead screwdriver) I had the old part off and the new part on in less than five minutes.

the part comes out and installed the new one and a smile showed up. ja Ja thank you very much, you saved me some $$$ money I thought there was no way to fix this, but I am glad you prove me wrong, thanks again,

The new coupling came with instructions including pictures. I followed the instructions and it was a breeze. I just put the end of the screwdriver under the coupling and bent it up, turned it 1/4 and did it again. After going all of the way around it came right off. The new one screwed on and I was done.

used screwed driver to lift off the coupling ,very easy. than put on new one . poof it was done. works great. very fast service. thank you so much. carol in beverly hills fl
