3822PRA Magic Chef Range - Instructions

Removed 2 phillips screws, unplugged 2 wires, threw away old element. Installation of the new element was just as easy but in reverse order. Piece of cake!

I had the problem before and had to call in a Tech to repair the baking element in my oven. It cost me $150.00 for the repair. This time I decided to do the repair myself, so I went online and found this site The instruction video made it very easy. I am very proud of what I was able to do without calling a Tech. My oven works like new, It only cost less than $40.00 for the total repair. I am so glad this site were there when I needed them.. Thanks a Lot..

Turned off power, removed 2 screws, un-hooked the connections, them put in the new element in reverse order.

Unplugged stove, unscrewed element pulled element out about 3 inces and disconnected element. Took model of stove looked on line for part. PartSelect had the best price and easiest web site to order part. Ordered part about 4pm and received part in 2 days. Took element out of box plug into connections and screwed the element back in. Plugged stove in and worked perfect.

Turn off breaker.
Unscrew old element, disconnect wires.
Connect wires to new element, tighten screws.
Breaker back to ON.
Done.

First throw the breaker on the stove. Remove two screws in back of oven then slowly pull out loosen the wire attachements ......got new part in 2 days just as simple reverse the removal directions.,,,I am over 60 female and it was simple.

My husband has moved out of state for his job. I am left here with the children until the house sells. This is the first time I have ever had to do any oven repair. I had excellent and fast service - my part came right away. I took out the 2 screws holding the element in place, pulled the element out, disconnected the old element, connected the new one, pushed it back in, and replaced the screws. No problem at all. I was a little nervous turning it all back on, but it is working perfectly!

The part came quick and packed very well. I moved the stove out and un pluged it. opened oven door and took a philips screwdriver and took the screws out at the back of element..Slid it out with the two wires attached and unpluged the conectors. pluged the conectors on to the new element and slid it back in. Had a chocolate cake in 35 minuts.

pulled breaker,removed oven door,removed 2 screws,pulled bake element out 3 inches,pulled connections off,pushed connectors on new element,pushed new element back and replaced screws,replaced oven door ,pushed breaker back and turned on oven and let it heat up to 350 degrees.
Total time 10 minutes,even a caveman could do it.

Turn Off the BREAKER!!!
Unplug the stove/oven
Opened the oven door
Unscrewed the baking element for the oven
Pulled the old element out about 3"
Disconnected the wire clip on both sides
Plugged the element into the clips
Screwed element back into place
Plugged oven in ,turned on breaker
PRESTO DONE

Pulled buner element out of socket as you would for detailed cleaning. Replaced burner element & drip pan with OEM parts. Fit was perfect, tested burner on all heat ranges, good as new.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about three inches and disconnected the two wires, being careful not to pull the plugs off. I then inserted the new element and reattached holders. It was very easy and took less than five minutes. The part arrived amazingly quickly. The stove works great now.

I can't believe how easy this was to fix! I amazingly found the part on-line at PartSelect website. I love that you pick part by size, color, etc. I didn't have a part or model number, so this made it super easy! I ordered the part and got it in the mail within 2 days....YEAH! The repair was easy as unplugging the range, unscrewing the bake element from the oven, pulling the wires out, unplugging the element and plugging the new element in. The oven works great after the repair! Too easy!! If I have to explain how I replaced the light bulb; you may not want to try it, you might hurt yourself.
