Notice ice build up on the panel in front of the evaporator coil. Unplugged freezer and removed evaporator panel. Plugged unit back in and checked fan, coil "snap switch" and heater element, all seemed to check out good. Found defrost timer stuck in the freeze position, causing frost to accumulate over the evaporator. Manually rotated defrost timer to the 30min defrost cycle and system went into defrost. Ordered defrost timer and installed (part arrived in 3 days). Freezer works great again. Too bad I ended up throwing 400 dollars worth of meat away. the fix was very simple. Will definitely use PartSelect again. Thank you.

I had to tap the screw holes with a 8/32 tap so that the screws would not bind.

Just snapped the piece in place. Fixed in less than 1 minute. The Lady on the phone was helpful in making sure I was selecting the right piece. Delivery was made in 2 days. I can't be more pleased. cw

The replacement part simply snaps into place - super easy!

It was simply a matter of snapping in the replacement shelf.

I read the model number on the inside of refrigerator label, ordered the part online from PartSelect. Part arrived in 24 hours. My daughter placed bracket onto fitting and repair was complete in less than 10 seconds.

Replaced fan. I ordered the fan and received it the following.(-:

When i found out there was no thread in brace where bolts were supposed to screw in, I panicked. I thought I would have to send part back or go to a machine shop to make a thread. I called a friend for help and he told me the bolts would make the thread if I just screwed them in. Sure enough, the bolts made the thread and then I just proceeded to instal motor and put refrigerator back together. It was simple.

Simple drop-in. No tools. Less than one minute "repair" time. Worrying that the glass would break en route was for not; huge box with lots of peanuts and bubble wrap prevented any potential breakage. Very satisfied with price, shipment (including time), and overall "repair".

I ordered the replacement part on-line. When I received the part, I realized it was the wrong part. I contacted PartSelect and worked with the service representative, Julie H. She was excellent!! She determined that I had used an incorrect model number, and then she directed me to where I could find the correct number. She gave me clear directions on how to return the incorrect piece, and then sent me a UPS label to cover the shipping costs. Julie H was at all times, professional, friendly and very helpful!! I first noticed my ice cream getting soft. Then 2 days later the alarm went. I emptied the freezer, opened the panels and saw no frost. I saw that 99% of issues were resolved with a defrost timer and thermostat so I ordered those. I have to say the parts came quickly and they went in very easy. My freezer seems to be in the 1% category though. It's still not cooling even though I can measure the temperature at the front of the evaporator coil is cold but by the end of the coil it's almost room temperature. I think a repairman is called for.

Just took old knob out put new knob in real easy thank you jd

Upluged power pulled freezer out from wall removed the two screws that holds the defrost timer unpluged defrost timer pluged new timer in mounted new timer back with the two screws pluged freezer back in and job was complete. Freezer working fine.

Snap the old one out, snap the new one in.

Remove the cover panel inside the freezer, remove and replace the fan motor (pull fan blades off old motor and push on the new one) and replace the cover.
