Placed end cap on one end of rack and attached to one side of the door by applying hand pressure.
Inserted the other end of the rack into the end cap'
and again applied hand pressure to insert into slot, Repairs completed.

Occasionally, we'd get one batch of ice cubes and a frozen lake of water in the bottom of the ice tray.

The installation was easy and I won't bother duplicating the comments of others who have installed this part.

One word of caution: The ice maker contains a heating element on the bottom. That element is apparently live even when the ice bar is in the upper (off) position. When I unscrewed the old ice maker and went to lift it off the bolts, I severely burned my finger on the bottom of the old ice maker because apparently I started the repair in the middle of the heating cycle.

I highly recommend that you unplug the ice maker entirely before doing the replacement and gingerly ensure that the unit isn't hot before touching it. You'll save yourself a nasty burn.

watched the video (VERY helpful) and then removed the old icemaker and replaced it with the new one. Difficult only because of the small working space in the side by side freezer plus you can't see what you're doing when you tighten the screws. Working like a charm now.

From most posts I've read, the defrost timer was the culprit so I blindly ordered one. Easy install but did not fix the problem so I broke out the ohm meter. The only other 2 items it could be all tested good with my meter so I bypassed the defrost thermostat (per forum help...actually quite easy)and it defrosted fine, which told me I needed a new defrost thermostat. Installed fairly easy and problem gone.

door gasket: removed all the screws in the door panel,removed old gasket and fitted the new one and then replaced all the screws while making sure the gasket was in place.
Door shelf brackets: removed old broken ones and snaped the new ones in place.

First I removed the old gasket by pulling it off the door. Then I removed the screws from the door. Next I placed the new gasket around the door frame. Finally, I replaced the screws in the door to completely attach the gasket.

Loosen two screws, unplug power, lift it off, put new one on and make sure water chute is correct place, tighten screws!

After determining the ice maker was getting water but not harvesting the ice, I ordered a replacement Ice Maker. Installation was easy. One electrical connection and two screws. Following the video to make sure I did not miss any steps I had ice in just a few hours. Just in time for a July heat wave!

Removed 2 screws that hold ice maker in place. Unplugged and took out of freezer. Used the screws I took out to put new ice maker in. Plugged in the power and in 2 days I had a full ice bin and haven't had any worries since. Should have replaced the broken one along time ago but thought that the process was harder than this. Very easy and suggest this to anyone having ice maker issues. Less than $100 and never have to buy ice for the house again.

It was very simple, used a nut driver to loosen the attachment nuts that held the ice maker in place. Disconnected the wiring harness. Removed the leveling tab from old ice maker and attached it to the new one. Then reassembled in the reverse order. As they say it was no brainer! The best part of the repair, was hearing the ice dump.

I unsnapped the old clips from the bar, installed one end cap to freezer door, clipped other end cap to bar, slid bar into end cap installed in door then snapped other end cap into place. Repeated for second shelf bar as those end caps were broken as well. No tools were needed.

A little research told me the hum plus no cooling was either the compressor or the relay. I ordered the new relay and put it in but it didn't fix the problem. I ended up having to buy a new fridge, but it was worth the $30 gamble to see if I could fix it on the cheap and it saved me the money a service call would've cost. Pretty easy installation, just in a tight space on my model.

I had a fridge that was not working food was melting in the freezer, Beer was warm. You get the picture anyway using your site I found the parts needed to to fix the issue in fact I ordered two parts one fixed the issue 50% and the other like 30% of the time! both parts with overnight shipping were cheaper than 1 part if purchased at our local appliance part outlet:) not to mention the cost of a repair person. After realizing the engineering on this dryer was different, I was able to access the temperature control thermostat through the front, along the side of the heating element. Several philips screws hold the front on, removing them allows you to take front panel off. At that point the heating element is below. I took a picture of the wires, so that when I started removing them, it would be easy to reconnect. Two screws hold the heating element in place, upon removing the heating element housing pulls gently forward and out, be careful of the wires, the thermostat is the second thing connected to the housing of the heating element. Two more philips screws hold the housing to the bottom of the dryer. Two wires are removed from thermostat, which is also held in place by two philips screws. Remove wires, one at a time and place on thermostat exactly as they were on old thermostat. Hold new thermostat in place with the two Philip screws, and reassemble in reverse order. And enjoy your working dryer once more, hopefully for years to come.
