Product Description
RELAY START Specifications
If your fridge isn't cooling as it should, the problem might lie in your compressor start relay? and that's where we come in. This compact but essential part, produced by GE, acts as the engine starter, igniting your refrigerator compressor motor and making sure it runs smoothly. Think of it as the heartbeat of your fridge, minus all the stress. This little unit measures approximately 1.5 inches cubed, designed to slip right into the heart of your appliance and work its magic. It's OEM-approved, which means it's a quality replacement built to the manufacturer's exact specifications for reliable operation and optimal performance. Playing it safe is always a good thing when it comes to appliance installations. Always disconnect your fridge from all power sources before starting. And just a heads up, it's worth figuring out a temporary home for your perishable food, as the fridge will be out of action during installation. We also recommend slipping on some work gloves for added protection, as safety comes first. With this GE compressor start relay, you're not just buying a part - you're investing in a solution. Trust in GE to help get your fridge back to its best. Note: Always check for compatibility with your refrigeration unit before purchase.

Fridge and Freezer too warm
Took off the back cover, unplug it of course, use the flat screwdriver to pop off the cap on the compressor and just unplug the two units detached wires put em on the new units and plug the parts back to compressor, plugged in the fridge to see and it didn't come on so I left it for a day in discussed, came home from work and it was running? Have no idea why it would do that but it's running now and the temperature's are good?
