Dishwasher runs fine but the last of the water does not drain out. The water level is right at the trigger point for the float. I cleaned all water pathways out and i am pretty sure the pump is ok since only about 1-2 gallons are only whats left when the cycle is complete. The float switch is clicking but have not verified yet continuity of the switch when depressed.

Hello Lance, thank you for inquiring. For this symptom you will want to replace either the Sump part PS959014, the Drain Pump Assembly part PS2577650, or the Drain Tube Kit part PS2339994. We hope this helps.

Dishwasher is leaking like Niagara falls. I ordered some seals but then felt like the amount of water means it's over filling. Can I test the float switch somehow before I order a new one?
For model number CDWT980R10SS
Hi Joerg,
Thank you for the question, you can test the switch for continuity with a test meter. They can be picked up at a local hardware store if you do not have access to one.
Hope this helps!
