I’ve replaced the interlock switch 2 times in the past week (for the door latch), and each time it does not make it through a single cycle without burning out. When i put the new one in, the drain/reset process does complete without issue. What would cause this?

When you close the dishwasher door the latch keeper on the body of the dishwasher inserts into the door latch on the door.
