Fridge freezes daily no temperature control could it be the thermostat?

After plugging Fridge in, evaporator motor runs for five seconds then stops. Then the compressor comes on then stops. I have replaced the control board and the evaporator motor. I have ran the test using the light switch, and everything works individually while testing.

The ice maker stopped working. When I took it apart to check it out I found the assembly to be a solid block of ice. So I thawed it out, melted the ice with a hair dryer, and reassembled it.
