The indicator light above the far left knob is on even when the burner is off. I'm assuming i need to replace the infinite switch, but since i'm not an expert, i would like to get this confirmed before i buy the part.

The indicator light on the right side of my electric stove stays on and the burners front and back will not turn off. The left side will turn on when i turn the nobs off and on but the right side stays on , continue to burn. What do i need to do?

I came home and the control panel was not working. The light doesn't come on and can not get it to start when touching bake and the oven light will not work. What kind of sensor will cause this to happen.

Hi Betty, Thank you for the question. The Oven control board does not effect the cooktop, only the oven operations. So even when the board is defective the cooktop will still work. This is a electric appliance so there is not ignition switch. If the sensor was bad the oven would still work but the temperature would not reach the set temperature or woudl be too hot. My element light indicator continues to stay on. It states element is on yet the element in oven is cold not on at that time. Oven continues to work yet indicator light stays on continuously.

My Frigidaire electric range surface indicator light stays lit. I replaced it and it's still stays lit. What else could be the problem?
