Rats love these parts!
This part ( and 2 other parts ordered at same time) lasted 3 weeks after which rats/mice ripped them apart. Should make part taste awful to rodents. I'm trying to stop the rodents. Brian

Easy repair, saved hundreds!
The tub to pump hose worked great - no more leaks! A very simple fix ended up saving me hundreds of dollars, and extended the life of my washer that was purchased in 2009. The quick video is a great guide on how to access the hose easily. With the right tools, re/re only took 10 minutes.

Easy Repair Worked as expected
Replacing this is super easy, I'd recommend not following most instructions and removing the case to do it. I did and it was way more difficult to reassemble the case than install the part. You can easily tip the washer up and access it from underneath without taking anything else apart.

some water leaking on spin cycle
changed both hoses (inside the washer unit) and noticed evidence of water stains on the small pump housing. Ordered a new one and installed hoses and new pump. Works great now - no leaks, all good. As a comment, getting the "box" back on around the washer was the most cumbersome part of the task. I did it alone, but having a helper steady the one of the sides would be helpful. Getting the cover situated on the frame at the bottom correctly is paramont. Best wishes!

The hose on my machine isn't long enough to reach my sink, the hose is on the left side of my washer and my sink is more to the right, so water splatters on the floor from the sink, so i feel if i had a longer hose it would stop the splatter. So i want to know if you have a longer hose than what comes with the washer.
For model number 110.24832200
Hello Gwendolyn, Thank you for the question. The longest hose Kenmore has listed is 6 feet, PartSelect Number PS386511. The hoses are sold individually. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I bought the tub to pump hose and the openings were to wide. The entire tub of water spilled all over the floor. I need a different size hose but this is the only one I've found.
For model number MCSTCW21W2
Hello Elizabeth, Thank you for the question. We are sorry, we looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with the updated substitution number. We hope this helps!
