Fine Filter Hub Nut Specifications

This is the replacement fine filter hub nut for your dishwasher. It is made of white plastic and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. The fine filter hub nut is also known as the lower spray arm hub nut, and it connects the lower spray arm to the hub. If the hub nut breaks, it can cause the spray arm to wobble during operation and this can result in a strange noise. To replace this part, first remove the spray arm by turning it counter clockwise, then do the same with the hub nut. Install the new hub nut by turning it counter clockwise, then replace the lower spray arm. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part from the manufacturer.

Anyone who cleans their washer properly needs this part on hand
Delivery was within scope in spite of the Christmas rush which was on when I ordered the part(s). I ordered two of them because each time you properly clean the washer, little retention tabs break off - poor design. After a few cleanings, the piece is no longer 'locked' in place, so best to replace it. The install is not difficult - simply look at what you are removing and put the replacement part back in the same manner.

Control module went out - causing the heating element to super heat, melting several of the plastic interior parts
I replaced the control module, and effected plastic interior parts - tested wihout heat, then re-tested with heat dry - performed beautifully. This is a pretty expensive unit that would cost around $1500 to replace new. And, Sears wanted $1500 to repair, so I saved a bunch doing it myself for about $350.

Rate chewed drain hose up.
Removed screws that held dishwasher under cabinet...pulled out DW...removed old part...replaced with new....easier than falling off a stump.
