Broken element
First, disconnect the power from the electrical box, not just turn off that oven. specially if you have a double oven. Just turn one off is not enough.
I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out slowly about 2 inches to expose the connectors, and then disconnected the two wires by holding the wire (female) connector by one plier and pull the element (male) connector out with another plier. Then, insert the new element connectors, and push the wire back into wall then fasten the element with 2 screws.

Lower bake element cracked and eventually broken into two sections
Disconnect the Power to the Oven
1. Took out the baking racks 2. With a nut driver, removed the two machine screws holding the baking element. 3. Pulled the baking element out 3-4 inches and using pliers, removed the wires from the back of the broken element. 4. Reattached the wires to the new element and reversed process.

Element was fried, no pun.
Exactly as you descibe and after disconnecting the two wires from the contacts on the element and taping the two wires to the oven wall so they do not fall back into the hole from where they came was extremly helpful. Also was an opportune time to clean the oven properly prior to installing the new element.

Heating element broke
e.g. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...) Then I simply re-connected the replacement element and viola!

The lower heating element no longer worked
Turned off the oven power at the breaker. Removed the oven door by opening it all the way down. Flip the two metal tabs, one on each side, so the door releases. I used a flathead screwdriver to do it. Close door almost all the way and lift up to remove. Once the door is removed, there are two screws in the back of the oven connected to the heating element. Unscrew both screws. Gently pull out the heating element from the back wall. There are two terminals connected to wire clips holding the wiring in the back. disconnect, both terminals from the wire clips. Be careful not to pull on the wire or pull out from the wall too far. Connect to the new heating element to the same wire clips gently push it back into the wall reattached the two screws, reattached the door and turn on the breaker and test the heating element. I used YouTube to figure out how to disconnect and reconnect the door so that is an option.

Oven heat would not reach thermostat setting.
Turned off breaker to oven at breaker box. Removed the 2 screws. Gently pulled the heating element out enough to remove the 2 wires. Connected the 2 wires to the new element. Pushed connecdted ends back into hole and replaced and tightened 2 screws. Turned breaker back on, tested oven, and it worked.

Bake element burned out.
After I removed the 2 screws holding the element to the rear wall, I was afraid to pull too hard on the wiring for fear of breaking something. However as I pulled on the connectors, I could see there was some wire that I could pull out through the insulation (maybe 1"). I put a clamp on each wire for fear it might slip back inside. I then disconnected the clips and reconnected to the replacement element, pushed the wiring & clips back, and replaced the 2 screws. I am a DIY guy, but 76 years old, and convinced anyone could do this.

Oven was taking much longer than normal to cook foods. Found the bake element was broken (literally broken through in a spot).
Loosen the screws to the bake element. Carefully pull out old element until wires are exposed. Pop off the clips from wires to heating element (leaving clips on the wires). Attach clips to new heating element. Screw back into place. Piece of cake!

Element actually burn through and had a hole in it!
Really simple. shut off breakers. checked the breakers were off. then checked again (this is 220V power to the element). Undid the 2 nuts holding the old element in place. Pulled out the element into the oven space an inch or two. Used pliers to pull the contacts out from the old element (not by the wires folks). reversed the process and I was done!

Element brunt into
make sure to throw breaker and power is off of range, the elements still have power on them when range is off. Took door off, pulled racks out, pulled the two screws holding the element in place. Pull elements straight out and unplug the wires connecting to thr element and reverse the prosses.

Believe the heating (baking) element is defective. Wife told me of a small fire appearing at back corner of oven. Looked at aluminum foil drip pan and see signs of arcing with burn thru spots. Also appears coil has "burnt threw" as some of the cover appears missing. Model number appears correct except 0 is missing in models on line. What is the correct baking element?

Can't find this exact model.
Serial no. RL6 07746Q. It's about 17 years old.
Was cooking brownies and it cooked only on top. Think the bottom baking coil is gone. What part should I order.
