Fits well. Did the Job
The shipment came quickly and fitted well. The original bake element was bent near the connect and this was straight, but it did fit none the less. The oven is back up and running in no time.

Hole In Back Was Too Small
I had to cut about 1/4 in. Off the top part of the back hold so the bakeing element would set on the bottom of the oven. Everything else went okay.

Oven bake element burnt out
We had previously removed the bad element, which was initially confusing because the element plugs were so small and narrow compared to previous experience. After our local parts store couldn't seem to get the correct part in for us, we ordered the exact element here. It plugged in fairly easily, we screwed a few cover plates on, and slid the stove back into place. (and of course switched the appropriate electrical breaker off before replacing the element)

Bake Element burned out
Ordered new bake element and received in two days and was exact replacement. removed the two screws holding the old element mounting plate and attempted to carefully pull out the old element far enough to disconnect electrical house wire from the element and hang on to. However the old element came out without the house wire connected. After the newbake element plate was mounted to the inside of the oven the range had to pulled out to reconnect the house wire. Step one shut electric power off to range

It says that part #wb44k100009 replaces part #aop3190019....however, this part only has two loops whereas the burnt out one of my range has 3 loops???
For model number JSP42CK3CC
Hi Judith, thank you for your question. I am not sure where you got part: aop3190019, however the best way to know whether you are getting the right part or not is by searching with the model number directly on your appliance. The model number that you provided me indicates that this part you are questioning underneath is the correct part for that model. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

While baking a 3 layer cake, 2 pans cooked correctly while the third was mostly cooked by uncooked in the middle (about a 3 inch diameter portion). Will a malfunctioning element cause this?
For model number JS905
Hello John, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Oven Sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
