The keyboard has multiple buttons that do not operate. The only buttons that function is the number 1 express button and the clear button. Is this the mother board or the buttons themselves
For model number JVM1750DP1BB
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your inquiry. Over time the buttons on a microwave can become worn out over time. Sometimes using a hair dryer on a low heat setting over the touchpad can sometimes get it to start working again. If you try this and it does not work, you will need to check the touchpad, the wiring connections between the touchpad and the electronic control board and the electronic control board.
I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My microwave does not function at all. Nothing on the keypad and no lights. 120v supply power is good, 20a fuse is good, 120vac at connector for main power supply on PCB. Troubleshooting flowchart says replace PCB. Does this sound correct?
For model number LVM1750SP2SS
Hello Brett,
Thanks for your question. Remember that the parts for this microwave should only be installed by a licensed technician, as they can still carry electrical charges even when the microwave is unplugged. The control board is the most probable cause for your issue, and it should be replaced. It is also a good idea to check if the thermal fuse and thermoprotector are functioning properly before replacing the board.
I hope this helps.

Microwave panel beeps and says to choose a sensor level from 1-6 but it cannot be cleared or entered. The display went to this function all by itself after finishing cooking. No other buttons on keypad can be entered. Thanks.

With the door closed, the microwave light and motor are both on. What is wrong?
Hello Ruth,
Thanks for your question. This could be due to the control board, but we would first advise having a licensed technician check the door switches to the microwave. The microwave can carry high voltage charges even when unplugged, so be sure a technician tests or replaces these parts.
I hope this helps.
Just a year ago a repairman replaced what i think was this part. Now the microwave is doing the same thing. You can set the time and it begins to count down but no power comes on. Is this the part that needs to be replaced or might it be something else. It is now three years old and i hate to spend $131 if it is going to happen again. It has been just a little frustrating for us after spending $424 on a nice microwave.

Hello Steven, thank you for your question. It does sound like the board has gone bad again. I would suggest testing the door switches to make sure they are not faulty. If they are functioning properly I would suggest replacing the board. I hope this helps!
