Product Description
Terminal Block Kit Specifications
This range terminal block kit provides a secure connection point between the household power cord and the appliance’s internal wiring. It helps distribute electrical power safely and reliably to the range’s heating and control components. A damaged or worn terminal block can prevent the oven or burners from operating correctly, cause buzzing noises, or lead to power interruptions, and replacing it can help restore proper electrical function and safe operation.

left terminal broke off from the base of the block causing circuit breaker to trip and not able to be re-set
Ensured breaker was off. My range is hot wired. Removed all cables from old terminal block with nutdriver. Used phillips head screw driver to remove old terminal block from back of range. replaced old terminal block with new one. Re-attached accessory cables to small terminals first, then the main cables to the terminal block using where necessary long nose pliers. It is important to make note of which cables are attached to each terminal of the block, so make a sketch PRIOR to removal. Also be careful how the cables are attached to the block. You are using 10 gauge cable with thick insulation. It is important that when pushing the range back into position the cable does not put too much pressure on the block as it will break it. That's exactly what happened to this last one. It probably cracked under the strain of the pressure of the cable and finally current running through it weakened it to the point where it broke off from the block causing it to short and trip the breaker.

The oven will wihtout notice increase temperature to very high then have to turn down to extremely low to get @ 350 degrees. Same thing happening with burners. Will suddenly go high nad have to turn knob way down to get medium temperature. Never right away, happens after cooking or baking for a little while. Is there a control board or something that i can change?
For model number Frigidaire Model FFEF3003NWC
Hello Brad thank you for writing .
Solution: The burner temperature control knob on the stove is defective and needs to be replaced. On certain models an entire control board may need to be replaced, which sounds like it is the case on your unit .we also suggest to call the manufacturer and see if there are any known issues, defects or recalls. Hope this helps. Contact us anytime.

I was cooking on my Tappan stove and was also baking without any warning the stove burners (all) stopped heating and the oven also quit. We checked the breaker no luck getting it to work.I am hoping that you can give me some insight to my problem.
For model number Tef351ewe
Hi Cathy,
Thank you for the question. There might be an issue within the wiring of the appliance. If there is no power going to the appliance I would check the terminal block first to see if there is any visible damage or burn marks. It could also be the outlet the stove is plugged into. There is no one part that would control all of the elements on the cooktop and the oven unless the stove is not getting power. If you have an multi meter you will be able to test for continuity in the power cord and the terminal block.
Hope this helps

Oven takes almost 45 minutes to heat to 350*....checked lower element for continuity ( good), replaced temperature sensor with new one. Still 45 minutes. Anything else I can do myself to troubleshoot this?
For model number LGEF3046TFH
Hi Robert, thank you for reaching out. As you have already checked the element, and replaced the temperature sensor, the issue could be with the control board, part number PS12364539. It monitors the oven temperature and controls the oven heating functions in the range. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
