Ref Side Not Cooling Properly& Noisy
Looked at repair diagram, ordered part [ fast shipping ],first empty freezer pulled everything out removed rear panel, removed motor, installed new motor into housing. Using a heat gun [on low ] defrosted ice build-up on coils, this tookover one hour , reinstalled everything and it started right up but took 24 hours to stablize and get the ref / freezer back to the -10/37 degree . All better and quiet now. Last time I paid for the repair over $200 very happy thank you part select

Low clicking noise . Evaporator motor just tries to go . sometimes it goes and all works fine. what is wrong
For model number GC5SHEXNQ00
Hello Rick, thank you for reaching out. The issue seems to be with the evaporator motor itself. The clicking sound is the motor's internal components struggling to overcome an obstruction or failing to build enough rotational force. We would suggest inspecting it, the part number is PS17216015. We hope this solves your problem!
