Hey I was wondering how I would test the pump on the dish washer my top rack dishes aren’t cleaning and I cleaned everything arms and everything only thing left is the pump or the sensor thanks

It delivers water to the spray arms to clean the dishes during the wash cycle. To test a dishwasher pump, access the pump and test for 120 VAC to it. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Hello there. I seem to be having an issue with my 5 year old dishwasher. Dishes are not cleaned or even wet and clean pod is not dissolved after a 4 hour cycle. Water sounds like it comes on to fill. Then the pump comes on shortly after to empty and then it repeats. Wondering what part in this model would be causing the issue?

I received this part but the electric connector is different. The old one has a bracket that attaches to the pump with the male end connector. Is it ok to plug directly into this pump? Can send photos if needed.
