Easy replacement of old motor and fan.
Although not a perfect copy of the original, my oven is so much quieter. I am happy we decided to make the change. It works really well.

When attempting to use convection bake, we hear a click like a switch or relay engaging, but the fan never turns.
For model number WFE535S0LS3
Hello Mike, thank you for your question. If the fan is not turning you will need to replace the Fan Motor PS16730717. You can test the motor first with a multimeter. Uninstall the component for testing . Rotate the multimeters range selection dial to the lowest setting for ohms of resistance. Now, contact the black meter lead to one of the convection fan motors terminals and the red lead to the other terminal. Ff the meter display indicates 15 to 120 ohms of resistance the fan motor has electrical continuity and should be functioning properly . However if the meter display doesn't change the fan motor has no continuity and the motor will need to be replaced with a new one. Good luck.

I have installed the new fan motor into my oven. The new fan is not turning when i try to use the oven. Is the new fan motor defective or is something else the problem?
For model number WFE550S0HZ1
Hello Jorge, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend making sure that you have installed the fan motor correctly, and the wiring regarding it is intact. If the problem persists, then you may need to check the control board, part number PS16555205, to solve the problem. A malfunctioning control board can most probably cause the fan to not work. We hope this helps!
