How do I remove inverter board cover so I ca investigate why the compressor isn’t running

Hi Ron, thank you for reaching out. To remove the inverter board in your refrigerator be sure to unplug the power cord and shut off the water supply. Use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the screws securing the water supply line retainer to the rear panel. Detach the water supply line from the inlet valve, and next unthread the remaining screws securing the rear access panel. Set the panel aside to replace the inverter board. You will need to move the compressor, pull off the three retaining pins and remove the washers carefully. Lift the compressor and move it to the right. Disconnect the two inverter board wire connectors using a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the screws securing the grounding wire. Then, use a Philips head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the inverter board and detach the board from the compressor. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the wire connector off of the compressor terminals and fully remove the board. Then you can check your compressor. We hope this helps!
