Product Description
SWITCH Specifications
This single infinite control switch regulates power to one surface burner on an electric range or cooktop, allowing you to adjust and maintain precise cooking temperatures. Unlike a basic on/off switch, it cycles the heating element on and off at varying intervals to match the selected heat setting, helping prevent overheating or uneven cooking. It is commonly replaced when a burner stays on high, will not turn on, or produces inconsistent heat. Installation involves disconnecting power to the appliance and accessing the control panel to replace the switch.

Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
Bumped into the switch and it came apart, then arced against the control panel.
Turned off circuit breaker for the range.
Removed the 3-T15 torx head screws from the bottom of the control panel.
Lifted up the front of the control panel and range top approximately 4”, then used some pieces of scrap wood for support on both sides.
Removed the switch control knob and then the 2-T20 torx head screws that secure the switch.
Pull out switch from behind snd the wire terminal connectors.
Reverse process to install new switch.
Note: Since this switch is prone to being bumped into due to the layout of our kitchen, before installing the new switch, I loosened the metal clip that holds the new switch together, then put a small amount of super glue between the two halves before reinstalling the metal clip. This should make it less likely that the switch will come apart again, I hope!
