DWasher was not getting dishes clean.
Was a little time consuming as i had to disconnect water and waste supply hook ups under sink. After getting that done was really easy. Flipped DWasher in side removed old unit and installed new.

IS THIS THE CIRCULATION PUMP RESPONSIBLE FOR SENDING WATER TO THE SPRAY ARMS?
For model number MDB8959SKW0
Hello Matthew, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the pump motor is responsible for circulating water from the sump collection up through the spray arms. You may need to replace it if the dishwasher is not cleaning dishes properly. We hope this information helps!

Dishwasher will not drain.....got the DW entered into test mode and flashing light codes = Dishwasher will not drain, call for service.....the motor sounded like it was running but it stopped and the DW started beeping, when the unit needed to drain. Any ideas on which part (s) would be bad?
For model number KDTM404KPS1
Hello David, thank you for contacting us. Based on the information provided, it seems like the issue could be related to the drain pump or a blockage in the drainage system. Here are a few potential causes and solutions:
1. Clogged Drain Hose: The drain hose could be clogged or kinked, preventing water from draining properly. Inspect the hose for any obstructions and ensure it is properly connected and not kinked.
2. Garbage Disposal: If the dishwasher is connected to a garbage disposal, ensure that the knockout plug has been removed, and the disposal is not clogged.
3. Filter Blockage: Check the dishwasher's filter for any debris or blockages that might be preventing water from draining.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, then you may need to replace the drain pump, part number PS12741766, to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!
