DRAIN VALVE Specifications
When using an air compressor, moisture naturally builds up inside the tank as air is compressed. If this water isn’t drained regularly, it can lead to internal rust and damage over time. That’s where the drain valve comes in—it allows you to release the built-up water and keep your tank in good condition. Located at the bottom of the tank, this valve should be opened after each use to prevent corrosion and extend the life of your compressor. If you tend to leave air in the tank for long periods, water accumulation can be even more significant. This replacement drain valve features a thread size of 18 TPI and is sold individually. Regular maintenance with a working drain valve helps ensure safe and efficient compressor operation.
