Dishes and glasses were left with residue after cleaning cycle was completed.
There was a small tear in the mesh in the accumulator as well as a noticeable buildup of Detritus in the spray arm. I was able to remove the defective parts and install the new items easily. Total time was less than 30 minutes

There is always a residue left on the dishes. I've cleaned out the accumulatr, lasts one cycle then right back to residue. I've tried dirty dishes, scraped off dishes. I'm at the point if changing the accumlatr. Spray arms are clear.
Machine is 12 years old.
For model number MDB8959SFH4
Hello Maria, thank you for your question. The most common reasons are chances are your dishwasher detergent is of low quality, or you may be using too much dishwashing detergent. Use a rinse aid on your final rinse cycle: Rinse aids help prevent streaks on your dishes after cleaning and can help remove white film residues. Hard water contains minerals that can leave stains on your dishes. Over time, these mineral deposits can clog spray jets, and cause your dishwasher to clean less efficiently. We hope this helps.

dishes aren't getting clean. serviceman said top arm wasn't turning. said I need a new pump and motor. But, it pumps some water, most dishes get clean. I can hear the pump motor running. need new accumulator or impeller? Suggestions?
For model number mdb4949sdz0
Hi John, thank you for the question. If the pump motor is running, then the issue could be with the impeller, part number PS9494957. It circulates water within the dishwasher to clean dishes. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
