Washer works fine but water continues to drip in the washer when turned off. I have to shut the main supply off. Is this a bad water inlet valve?
For model number MVWC565FW0
Hi Jeffrey,
Thank you for your question. Yes, if you have water leaking into the tub when it is not in use, the issue would be the water inlet valve. A component in the valve has failed and it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

After i have loaded the washer and pushed the start button, the sensor light comes on, but water does not start filling the tub. I was told that this was because of the water input valve. Is this correct?
For model number NTW4605EW0
Hi Leilani, thank you for your question. Usually it is however you could test your valve with a multi meter to make sure it is working correctly. If it is then you may want to also take a look at your water level pressure switch as well. Good luck with your repair.

The water keeps running without filling the washer. What should I look for to verify the faulty part?
For model number NTW4605EW0
Hello Chuck, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Water Valve. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. Closely examine your water inlet valve. The exact ohm resistance rating you should test for may be marked on the valve. We hope this helps!

The clothes in the washer are half-dry and have stains all over them. Seems like some clothes have never been washed at all. Could it be that the inlet washer valve is bad so that it doesn't allow water in?
For model number MVWC565FW0
Hello Kostya, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the valve with a multi meter to check for continuity. Hope this helps!

For model number MVWC565FW
