Pigtail was not long enough
Although I ordered the listed igniter from the exploded drawing you provided it called it a broiler igniter even though it was listed in the drawing of the oven igniter. I had to assume that it was universal to both. Wrong. The pigtail on the igniter was 10” too short so I then had to order porcelain wire nuts and splice the pigtail to the original one thereby voiding my warranty. Delivery took longer than estimated. Also should have an express delivery option. Overall not super impressed sorry just being honest. The part does work though so other than all the trivial nonsense the part was what it was

replace bad oven ignitor
Oven ignitor is on the bottom gas unit. Ignitor is in oven and plug is in warmer oven on left wall at very back of warmer oven. It has duel function to light both upper and lower gas burners (in oven). Wires of new plug that I received were shorter than existing wires and would not reach the plug from ignitors center mount location to plug at far back of warming unit on left wall. Even if the wires would have been long enough, I couldn't figure out how to "release" the existing plug. Easy solution: Cut old wires at junction of old ignitor (leaving wires as long as possible). Cut new wired as close to new male plug as possible (leaving wires as long as possible on new ignitor). Strip ends of old and new wires and wire nut with porcelin wire nuts (hardest part of job was locating porcelin wire nuts)! After placing wires out of the way of burner and ignitor, reassemble stove parts. AVOID touching new element as oil from hands will decrease the life of the element. Good Luck..

This part, is it the one that's below the floor of the oven? The one that heats up and will allow the gas tube in the floor of the oven to actually be lit? Mine is currently glowing but after 90+ seconds still won't light the gas and as such i don't get any heat in my oven. The other part that it recommended(316489403) looks like it'd be replacing one in the top of the oven for a broiler lighting. Is that correct? Just want to make sure i order the right part.

Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes this bake element is under the bottom panel in the oven. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My gas range left front burner is blocked, can not ignitiate, have no fire. It might blocked by wax. How can I reopen it and have fire? Replace head would be useful? Do you have the spare parts available?
For model number FGGF3036TFE
Hi Dorothy, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, you can clean the burner head by using a straight pin or paper clip. Remove any blocking material. If it does not help replace the left front burner, part number PS2364157, to fix this issue. We hope this solves your issue!
Broiler glows but does not ignite. Would this part be the cause?
For model number 790.74332310
Hello Jeffrey, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Igniter. With a multimeter set to OHMS, connect to both igniter leads. On a good igniter, there should be between 40 & 400 OHMS. A bad igniter will show no resistance or continuity. We hope this helps!

So my broiler would glow but would not ignite and I changed the broiler igniter and it still will not come on what is the next thing that I need to check?
For model number LGGF3043KFS
Hi Tammy, thank you for reaching out. As you have already replaced the broiler igniter, we would recommend checking the oven safety valve, part number PS5136194. It controls the gas flow to the bake and broil burners in the oven. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I have replaced both control board and broiler igniter but the broiler still doesn't light. oven works fine. any suggestions?
For model number LGGF3042KFP
Hi Bob, thank you for the question. Based on our understanding, we would recommend checking the broil burner, part number PS2581761. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
