not agitating. would replacing washer plate fix it? agitator moves freely manually

According to our research, you will need to check the gearcase, part number PS1274164, and if it is working fine you will need to replace the wash plate, part number PS11699797. This drum shaft assembly is for washers. Drum shaft assembly connects the spin basket to the drive motor to spin the basket. Unplug the washer before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
