Is this the interior glass or exterior glass?

Hello Katie, Thank you for your inquiry. It's an interior piece of glass that goes between the outer door glass that the handle attaches to and the piece of glass that faces the inside of the oven. Hope this helps!

While i'm waiting for the part, is it okay to use the oven of a 18 yr old KitchenAid range whose inner glass pane has 3 hairline cracks in it? (i stupidly didn't wait until the oven cooled down and used a cold, wet paper cloth to wipe the inner glass. Snap,crackle,pop!)
