Take great care in taking the door apart. I recommend a workbench where kids won't get at the small pieces and shift them around on you. DOOR HINGE BROKEN, NOT SUPPORTING DOOR
Followed youtube instructions: lifted clips on door hinges, removed door. removed screws, removed rear cover, replaced right hinge. reassembled door. caution: door handle will fall off when top two screws are removed. Alignment of screws is some what difficult, requires awl. Replace door, return locking clips to forward position, check door for operation.

The hinge was mounted on the right . The screw to remove it got it's square head chewed up because of using the wrong ssize driver
I left the old broken hinge in place, & put the new hinge on the left side.

Watched a video on you tube! When I ordered the hinge it was recomended to replace both hinges. so I ordered two hinges not knowing that one of the hinges didn't have a spring. I ended up with an extra hinge.

Broken spring hinge
the door came apart fairly easy getting it all back together was another story lining up glass and panels that have already been heated was fun but its back together and working fine.... It should be noted that I have a warranty for the stove but the hoops I had to jump thru and the time it would take for the tech to come it was easier to do it myself!!

Oven door hinge spring was broken and made the door heavy to open and close
I took the door off the oven frame by releasing the hinge latches and lifting and pulling the door outward to remove it . Then I removed the glass outer cover by taking off the philips screws and then unscrewed the door hinges . I then reversed the order to replace it .

First, view videos to know what is an active door range problem. Second, when you know the problem, see videos on you tube and be sure you will replace the right part Third, I go to Part Select, see reference video for your problem if you need and buy the part on line, good price, very quick delivery.

Compressor would not shut off at the maximum recommended pressure (150psi)
Removed face plate (4 screws). Removed 2 screws holding manifold in place. Detached wires from the switch. No need to mark them - they don't have to go back on any particular terminal. Remove the switch from the manifold with an adjustable wrench. Replace with new switch (thread sealing compound on the new switch is sufficient - no need for teflon tape). Reattach wires and reassemble manifold and face plate. Easy fix!

Replace Door Hinges
So glad I found the parts I needed! I followed the GREAT video instructions on this site and when I opened the oven door up discovered there had only been ONE spring inside this whole time! I replaced both springs & hinges easily, cleaned up the glass while I had the door off, and everything went right back into place!

Do the door hinges control how far i can open the door on this model? Right now the door is dead weight and only opens all the way or closes. No in between.

I have the schematic of the range. I know that the part that is broken is on the right side. W10299224 which has the spring. My question is is the hinge with spring only on the right side? Does the left side not have a spring? Another person indicated that was the case. I don't want to buy 2 spring hinges if only one side has a spring.
