Water Filter Housing
Our fridge water dispenser stopped dispensing. Could hold the filter in and it would work for a bit then stop again. After some troubleshooting, realized it was the valves in the housing. All one unit, so ordered the housing. It arrived in a timely fashion. I took it out of the box and first thought it was not the right one. But after checking a little closer found that it was the right one. Installed and pressured up. No leaks. Water dispenser is back to like new. 5 stars.

It was in perfect condition, original packaging, but it took longer than expected to receive it even though I live in Toronto. Despite I am very handy and do lots of repairs by myself, replacing the water filter housing on my fridge (KitchenAid KSSC42QVS01) was harder than expected (very limited access complicated by short tubing that made it difficult to disconnect them and reconnect to the new housing)

Recently replaced solenoid for ice maker / water dispenser. Then had problem with filter staying in place and not continually popping out.
Watched video of similar model repair for filter housing. But the model KitchenAide refrigerator requires enter and replacing housing from the back. My model has a metal facing which has doors attached to it also. It was simple repair though from the backside of the appliance.
