Easy Repair
The part was in great condition and worked well but we should have come with the washer part. I had to use the old one that was in my dishwasher.

water not spraying right.
removed parts and the ordered the parts. It was very easy to order parts from Partselect. I unscrewed a few screws and the disassembly was a breeze. I then revresed my steps and the new parts were instlalled no problem. Now on the the motor replacement. Thanks Partselect.com
machine has been extremely noisy for over 6 months, then quiet running altogether.
Double checked the model number , watched the video, ordered the parts . I got them in about three days , They looked exactly like the old ones. Proceeded with the disassembly just like the video explained and everything was going great.until I got to the installation part. The new unit would not fit in the sump. even though it looked exactly the same size as the old one. I worked with it every way I could, lubricating it and applying light pressure and finally beating the fire out of with a hammer and it just would not seat in the bottom of the sump. I removed it and reinstalled the old one and fit right in. So I removed all the parts out of the new unit and installed them in the old housing. From that point on the installation went well and now the dishwasher is as quiet as a mouse and so is my wife now. I did not have anything to measure the diameter of the unit accurately but eyeballing it with a rule it looked to be maybe a n 1/8" larger. So it appears to have been a tolerance problem. Not happy about that but I was able to get dishwasher going and the video was great help .

How does lower spray arm attach to support hub?
For model number DU1100XTPQ1
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. The spray arm actually just screws on and off of the support. You have to hold the support in place and then slip your spray arm over it and screw it on. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I can't get the screw to come off from the top of the lower water blade assembly. I have tried everything , cna you help me?
Hi Norma,
Thank you for your question. We do have an installation video for this part: https://youtu.be/ZFr2Ezbs-ac . You may have to hold down the spray arm as you are trying to unscrew the nut. Sometimes the nut is a left hand direction to unscrew. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Hello DW, thank you for your question. Yes, replacing Lower Spray Arm Support/Hub should fix the issue. I would also recommend replacing the Rear Feed Cap part number WP8268343 and Spray Arm Seal WP8268340. Good luck with your repair!

My Kitchenaid dishwasher fills up for the first cycle, then starts and a loud racket noise begins and continues through the following cycles. I ruled out the spinning spray arm on the "support hub" - any clue to the problem?
Hello DW,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test the circulation pump and motor with a multimeter to check for electrical continuity. Replace it if it shows no continuity. Consider examining the chopper assembly and door balance kit for any signs of wear and tear as well.
I hope this helps.
I am having trouble unscrewing the plastic tab on the lower spray arm it screws up but will not come completely out to allow the arm to come off. Any advice would help
For model number KUDP01ILWH6
Hi Greg,
Thank you for your question. You may have to hold the spray arm down while removing the nut. Sometimes it can get a little stuck. However you should be able to remove it just by unscrewing the support hub here. I am not sure what would be stopping it from pulling out all the way. I hope this helps. Good luck with your repair.

I have this part damaged (the thread is damaged) and i was wondering if this part could cause the leaking water from the bottom???
For model number DU1300XTVS2
Hi Tomas, thank you for your question. This part could cause leaking but the parts that I would suggest you check if you are getting leaking from underneath of your dishwasher would be the water inlet valve and your hoses that attach to the appliance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
