Jenn air variable speed fan switch
Came quickly. Fit well. Did not include retaining nut. All plastic compared to original all metal part. An acceptable solution.

Harder to fix than expected
The part you sent me didn't fit without modifying the appliance somewhat which took extra time but the result was satisfactory and it's now working well. I appreciated your prompt service in shipping the order. Thanks very much.

Knob stem broke off at the base near the switch
Removed stove top from the counter. Removed the glass frame and glass from the top. Removed the broken switch. Replaced with the new switch. Reassembled the unit and replaced it in the counter top.
One problem is the switch only fits in the space one way because of the first burner light. When installed the only way the knob fits on the switch stem makes the dot on the knob backwards. It now shows to be on medium speed when it is off.

Fan switch only fits in one way and makes knob point to medium setting when off. The switch did not come with a mounting nut and the original in Jenn-Air didnt match.
Lifted cooktop out of cabinet, removed flange around glass cooktop, remove glass and access the fan swicth. I used teflon tape to get original mounting nut to stay tight on the plastic fan switch.
