Product Description
Motor Pulley Specifications
This is the replacement motor pulley for your dryer. The motor pulley transfers momentum from the drive motor to the drum via the drive belt. If the motor pulley cracks or is no longer staying on the drive shaft, you will need to replace it. You will need to access the dryer motor for this repair, by removing the front panel. The motor pulley is approximately 1 inch in diameter and is sold individually. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Perfect fit
I was able to repair my dryer, it works as a new one now! Perfect fit, easy to replace.

Worked perfectly
The original mounting was slightly different being only flanged on one side while this replacement part is flanged on both sides, which seems much better anyway. But other than that, a perfect fit and an easy repair.

Dryer would'nt start / drum wouldn't turn
Unplugged Dryer; used screwdriver to push in and release two clips that hold top to front, tilted top back and removed two screws holding front to sides. Disconnected door switch and removed front .
Reached in above motor to remove belt from around pulley and tensioner wheel, Pulled drum and belt out of machine.

Took out tensioner assembly.
Disconnected wiring connector from motor.

Removed 2nd outer lock ring from motor shaft.

Screwed new pulley onto new motor shaft and cleaned blower housing and vent pipe.
Assembly is reverse of disassembly.
Inspected and lightly greased the glides and inspected the idler wheels before reinstalling drum.
Dryer works perfectly.
Five to ten minutes also spent unscrewing and replacing timer knob and hinge pins on lid of matching washer Crosley cw22b5v.
Very simple repair.

broken pulley and belt
Before anything else, I would like to thank your company for a quick response and fast delivery of the parts that I ordered. Ordering parts from your company saved me a lot of money. The repair took me about 15 min. First I removed the two screws that hold the front cover and then I pulled out the drum and replaced the broken pulley, then I put back the drum and the belt in place and then I put the cover and screwed back in and now I'm back washing and drying pile of clothes.

Drive pulley wore out
Item # PS11740721 motor drive pulley. This has a 3/8-24 reverse thread inner bore. Fit my Maytag model MDE508DAYW dryer made by Whirlpool, with drive motor on the lower right below the counterclockwise rotating drum and exhaust blower at the front of the machine. It might work with a number of brands of dryers made by Whirlpool with that configuration. Check the motor shaft thread and the drive belt which is a 5 rib belt 5/16ths inch or 8 mm wide. For Joe Blow the local appliance repair places only quote replacing the motor and pulley as a unit. At $170.
