Washer will not run after lid is closed. I reached in between the drum and the top housing and i touched the lid switch and it fell off down between the drum and the housing !! ( dumb move i know ) plus the washer is full of water help

Thank you for your question. I would suggest check your lid switch with a multi meter to see if it is working correctly. You may have to manually remove the water from inside of your tub. Here is how to take apart your machine: https://youtu.be/iphxuU3aeLY . Good luck with your repair.

It's a plastic part that when you shut the lid this part goes into a slot and locks the lid then washer is activated. Looks a lot like Lid Hinge Pad.
