The part fit perfect took a bit to take door apart also the actual part took a very long time to get to my house but I was pleased after the 9 months when it showed up

Everything fit easily about 30 minutes to do Start to finish. Delivery was fantastic

these are single brackets, i order 2 thinking it was 2 sets. I was wrong it is for 1 single piece. if the handle is broken top and bottom order 2. also due to covid shipping tool over 3 months

Part came fast after I ordered it correctly.

I had ordered two handle mounts for our microwave. When only one arrived and the shipping documents said there were two, I contacted customer service. Very helpful there, and second mount arrived quickly. Install was quickly completed and it’s like new again.

The part fit well and the repair went well. You'll need a putty knife, a flat screwdriver and two phillips screwdrivers (a #1 and #2). Remove the cowling with the putty knife, unscrew the frame from the door using the smaller phillips and separate using the flat screwdriver, remove the 2 screws holding the handle in place using the larger phillips. Unscrew the support(s) from the handle using the small phillips and attach new support(s). Reinstall, reattach door to frame and reinstall cowling. Took me about 1/2 an hour or so.

The parts were a perfect fit. A YouTube video for a similar GE microwave handle was instructive. Given the nature of the failure of the handle supports, it was apparent that the supports screws were either oversize or overtorqued at the factory so an obvious design or production issue.

We had to take the whole microwave door apart to put the new supports for the handle in, but that's a G.E. design issue. The parts fit, but this is the second time in four years we have had to order the replacements. The plastic seems brittle and only lasts 2 years. Again, a G.E. problem. Wouldn't get a G.E. appliance again.
