YKBHC109JS0 KitchenAid Microwave Oven Combo - Instructions

I took the new tray out of the box and placed it in the microwave oven.. No tools needed.

We had to remove screws from the vent covers above and below the microwave, then there were 2 screws (one on each side) that attached the microwave to the oven. Once all of the screws were removed we had to pull the microwave out. Then we pulled the light cord out, removed the burnt out light and installed the new one. Then reversed the steps.

Ordering the part online was easy. It arrived in a timely manner. I found a terrific video online showing how to install the terminal. It was so easy. Thank you for the great instructional video.

She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. Well the repair went Ok. The probelm happen on the following Monday. You see I ordered this part over the phone because I had to make sure it would arrive in time for Thanksgiving.

Unplug power cord, remove wires from block. take 2 screws out. replace with new block about 15 mins. Done

Removed the door frame by breaking it as there was no obivious way to get at a couple of the screws. Replaced the broken right spring as it was the original problem. Replaced the door frame by drilling a hole thru the exhaust tube of the regular oven mounted below the microwave.

I ordered it from PartSelect one evening and had the replacement glass one day later. It was the quickest service I have ever experienced. Now, I can continue to use my microwave. Thanks for such great & timely service.

removed broken part and replaced it with new glass panel. I was very pleased with parts select. easy to find part needed , decent price and fast shipping. I would not recommend Kitchen aid appliancec though, I bought 5 all new a couple years ago when I redid my kitchen and every one of them broke something within a few months. They are junk!

Honestly, I was afraid to order from this website, but after reviews, I placed my order, and 2-3 days later, my glass tray was replaced in my Microwave! I was freaking out because you just cant go back to Sears or Standard Brands and get a new one...everything is on-line. Im VERY happy.

Lifted out the chipped one, inserted the new one. Pretty simple.
