Sounds like a plane takeoff during the spin cycle! Very loud! What’s causing it to be so loud?
For model number WTW7120HC0

Hello Benjamin, thank you for getting in touch. Check the washer gear case assembly, part number PS16730208. The gear case over the time become damaged due to wear and tear, making loud noises. Check the drum's balance and tighten any loose screws or bolts. A loose drum can also make loud noises. We hope this helps.

Tab on door strike got broken off and washer would not operate without it.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
