Wife put soaking wet , heavy blanket in dryer, dryer cut off and we removed blanket , now it won’t start , hit start button , two seconds you can hear a click , but won’t start , please help , thanks and our model# is WTMC3321US/06

Hi Doug, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding, we would suggest checking the high limit thermostat, part number PS8713233. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Remove 4 screws on plastic cover of hinge that connects to the door. An assistant will come in handy at this point to hold the door. Then remove 2 screws holding hinge. Push up on hinge and pull out to remove hinge bracket. Hinge pins has plastic covers that need to be in place before attaching to the door. A small amount of vaseline will hold them in place.
Did a quick on line search of the problem and found the Limiter Switch is normally the solution.....loaded the model number in the PartSelect data base and received the correct part the next day (standard shipping)! Replaced the part in about 45 mins and works perfectly. While I was ordering the Limiter switch I figured it was a good time to replace the drum light bulb as well. Again, perfect match. Great experience with PartSelect, will be sure to use them again!
